Volunteers Wanted: Help Us Make Art Hop 2026 the Best One Yet
Scores are almost all back from our jurors, and we're now in the process of finalizing acceptances for this year's show. With the exhibit taking shape, it's time to open up volunteer sign-ups — and we'd love your help.
We're looking for volunteers to help us receive artwork from participating artists and install the pieces at the Georgetown Public Library and Georgetown Lamppost Coffee. It's a hands-on way to be part of Art Hop before the doors even open — and a great way to see the show come together piece by piece.
No experience necessary — just an interest in helping local art get on the wall.
Questions about volunteering? Reach out anytime with an email to arthop@hcaf.art— we're happy to help you find the shift that works best for you.
Call for Art Hop 2026
Has Closed!
Art Hop 2026 is no longer accepting submissions for the region's largest juried visual art exhibition.
Shortly, we will be sending the submitted art to our panel of four expert judges to rate the work on seven pre-selected artistic criteria. The judges’ scores will be the primary factor in which works will be accepted to show in Art Hop’s month-long exhibit in Georgetown, Texas.
In late September, the best works among those accepted will be identified by our second panel of awards judges. These awards will recognize excellence across six categories and vie for the $1,000 Best in Show prize. The exhibit will open to the public at the beginning of October.
We are pleased that artists from every corner of Texas submitted their work for Art Hop.We look forward to showcasing new artistic visions, celebrating established talent, and bringing outstanding local and regional art to the public throughout Art Hop 2026.
